It was defo Carp Radio, one of the first ones. Availability on the website starts at episode 10 which is odd. Might be worth shooting them a mail for info.

Definitely Carp Radio. The Carp Society bought the podcast of the origional owners.. is Carp Radio even still a thing???

Captivating story and amazing achievement...good he got rid of this unhealthy obsession by catching this wonderful fish.
