I have a power
Portor xtreme 3 years old , it got wet today and now no matter what I select forward or reverse on the switch , it only goes backwards.
Any help please guys

If it got wet, I'd be drying the switch out for a few days before trying anything, if you think that's the source of the problem

Obviously not waterproof then

Sounds to me like the speed controller (black box near the battery tray) has gone pop.

I've heard of people reversing the wires to the motor, to get them off the bank and home. Thereby reversing the motor polarity so it runs in a forward direction.

I have a mk6 with the older style controller and always put a freezer bag over the handle and controller when there's wet weather, the one time I didn't it died on me. After a freewheel push back to the van, had to dismantle it at home and dry it out and squirt it with switch cleaner to get it working again.

Took switch apart , blasted with hair dryer 👍👍, now working.

Just stick an old bivvy peg bag over the switches bit on the handle when not in use at all times. It then always stays dry and won't even suffer from condensation
