Any long term (or short term) reviews on Manilla. You don't really hear much about it these days?

I used it for 4-5 years all year round and had a huge amount of trust in the bait. I've also seen carp absolutely smash through it in close quarters so would happily use it as my feed bait in the future. Only moved over to Baitworks Creamino since as a close friend gets it cheaper.

I've used it for a couple of winters and it's a good bait; especially the active versions. Id normally soak them in some corn and the paste all melts off which must pump out some attraction.

Niggling part of me didn't think it was as good as the Live system from CC-Moore though but just my feeling.

Both of these have the bonus factor of not stinking your van out which was a consideration for me for a couple of years as I didn't have a freezer.

Another niggling part of me thinks that neither live system or manilla are as good as fishmeal food baits but again its only my feeling.

Ive got a bait freezer again so Im loaded up with Essential B5 for the next season.

I bought 5kg of the shelf life last year as I'd run out of my usual bait and was waiting for a delivery to arrive. First impression ?, like marbles. I put a handful in some water and left them overnight as I usually do.
Gave one a squeeze in the morning, still hard. Not impressed.
2 days later I gave up, I'd never put something like that out in the winter. Gave them away to some lad on Facebook.
Are you sure?
