First time at this show at the weekend. Used to go a few years back when the Carp Society run it. Anyone been in previous years what's it like these days. I believe it's the same people behind the BigOne show who run it. Will I be disappointed. Might go full Camo ****er as a bit of a homage to Gerry " Oldgezer " . He liked a bit of Camo at shows. Often defending people's rights to wear it on here.. Might see some of you there.. not at the bar ( i ain't paying there prices )

I used to meet up with him at the shows every year and took him to France a couple of times.
A great character that I miss.

if it was anything like other more recent years, you'll be round it in 20 mins and back out the door 😂

Looks like I'm going to have a great time...

I'm looking for a low chair so might find a bargain. If anything it might give me the inspiration to actually get out and do a bit. Been very lacklustre on the angling front this year..

Me mate who i was going with couldn't make it for personal reasons. Didn't fancy going on me own Did i miss out? Anyone go? Will have to try and go to one of the others in the new year...

after my last post, I did in fact go. Wasn't too bad But definitely not the stamp of years ago.
