Who uses what make/LB and what lengths?

Just for UK fishing where can use braid (not LR floating stuff).

I use TA SBX braid and Gardner hydrosink Noir, for leaders Seagaur Reel Soft in 24+ lb
They do a 24 26 and 30 in 25m lengths, it's nice and supple.
And if using long lengths so it's on the spool when casting if it goes a little paid taily just give it a quick stretch and it straights nicely

Just what answer i was after ..top man.

Was thinking of using 20lb Korda Kontour (maybe even 18lb). More for a bit of stretch /a buffer in the set up than for long casting.

Which one out of the TA or Gardener do you prefer?

Check out the FG knot for connecting the 2 together. Its outstanding.

I tried the Korda Kontour but found it goes crinkly very quickly and doesn't straighten as easily as the Seagaur.

The TA SBX sinks just a little quicker but I think that's because it's thicker.
Not much to choose between them to be honest I'm happy using both.

Been very happy with the performance of both braids with the Seagaur Fluro, I've snagged up a couple of times but not had a knot fail, on one I straightened the hook the other the 15lb hook link broke

I also like to use a longish length to add a bit of stretch.

I also use the noir but with the fox fluro .50 leader

Some good advice here guys thank you.
Are people using -braid main line, attached leader than another attached leadcore (or sim) leader too or just the fluoro leader straight to lead?
