Looking at purchasing some new Polaroid glasses. Was looking at the fortis glasss the wraps or the vistas. Whats the main difference on these as the price between the two is quite big? Anyone use either and what's peoples thoughts on them. Thanks

I had some.of the new Switch Fortis sunnys until they fell.in the lake and sank. One of the quickest fifty quids I've ever spent 😭

So a suggestion from me would be to get ones that float and I don't think any from Fortis do

I found the original Fortis wraps quite small & painful to use for hours. I contacted Fortis when they launched the new range, Vistas etc, and they were very helpful re sizing.

If you look online you can find how to check your size on various 3rd party sites and check that against the glasses you like. On a lot of plastic glasses you can heat and bend the bridge or arms to fit (a tip give to me by a opthalmologist)

I went Scierra in the end as they were on offer. They weren't as tight as the Fortis and resisted being opened up quite a lot, but I got there in the end.

Ps, re Onslows sinking, if you can tolerate using a lanyard you can buy floating ones for a few quid.

Wish I'd know floating lanyards were a thing, because the Fortis lanyard went in with the sunnys 😔

I only found out when buying fly fishing gear. Thing that gets me, if your in a river wading, I'd rather they sink than watch them float off into the distance

IMHO, go to Boots for your Polaroid glasses rather than a tackle shop.
