Hi, I am looking at purchasing the solar titanium indicators in short. I was going to get the carbon heads but nowhere has them in stock. So didn't know whether to go for the small or large head? Anyone else use these? Thanks

If you're thinking of using them as a tension arm you'd be better off with the long though the short are fine as a swing arm.

There was a thread on the forum where it was said the short were virtually useless as a tension arm, I'm sure someone said Locke said the same thing iirc.

I use these for everything from slack lining to long distance lines as tight as can get them scenarios and not been disappointed yet.

I have the short arm version with the titanium heads, went with the small... I do recommend the older solar ipro heads that came with the earlier versions of the titanium indicator for the swing arm setup and then the newer titanium p1 heads for tight lines. It's down to the line clips for me, the ipro suit less tight but the p1 clips can be tighter but I find they are more fiddly to adjust

The ipro are all plastic so lighter and really suit slack lining very well
