Anyone use these instead of a tackle bag/rucksack? Thinking getting one as my holdall is battered to pieces and the ridged top can double as a bivvy table. Or any better options?

Look up "Euro Storage Boxes" on Ebay. Virtually the same system and a lot cheaper. Probably even harder wearing. A bigger range of them as well. Plus, as they stack and interlock, each one acting as a lid for the box below, you do not need to buy lids for them all, just the "Top of the Stack"

Its what I have used on occasions for long sessions over the past 20 years. I got mine whilst I was in the army. I used to even have one for my baitboat, meant that I could put it on the barrow and no fear of crushing it with the cargo straps that I used to use. And when it rained, I could just leave the boat on top of the lid outside covered over by the box upside down and I used call it my "Boat House"
