As a former rod 'magpie' I'm now in the process of downsizing from about 30 rods to half a dozen or so. I know I'm not alone when it comes to acquiring shedloads of kit but enough is enough now. I've got at least 7 rods in 3 sets ready to go and will be looking at another 5/6 rods to boot, maybe more.
I don't want to go down the individual sales route as it's a lot of faff but neither do I want to get ripped off, Apollo Angling in Godalming were offering a shop to sell from for 50% of the sale value which I'm not over keen on, is there any decent auction site or trader who might take the lot for a reasonable price or am I being unrealistic ? I suspect the latter but any suggestions would be helpful.*

Not sure if you are on Facebook but I have always done ok selling stuff to fishing groups on there. Dont use Marketplace tho as its full of divs and time wasters.

Why don't you put them on the for sale on here in my experience of over 40 years of being a tackle tart had tons of gear buying and selling rods are one of the hardest things to sell for the right price

The classifieds on this site is the best place to sell them. 10 sets of rods isn't that huge an amount. List them for collection only, WhatsApp the photos when needed. No problem.

Appreciate all your suggestions guys, I think if I have to go down the route of individual sales I'd use ebay. I'm not on arsebook, marketplace is shyster central. Ebay offers some protection for all concerned if pick up only. Farnham angling fair sounds worth a look, I'd rather do a job lot even if its not a proper price.
Less is more guys, I'm getting older and have way too much stuff, fishing, work kit and photo kit. The life of wanton acquisition is over.

Tackle Tavern 100% if your kit is decent quality / desirable etc
They also PX against new kit so you may be able to bulk 'value' on multiple items against a more expensive singular purchase that you may desire (eg new Bivvy/Bedchair)
