How long is yours? On average how long do you make your lead core leaders

Around 3ft for me

I tend to keep mine around 60-100cm

750mm max for me, use unleaded nowadays though or fluoro

Depends on where I'm fishing & how far I need to cast.

Average is 6ft but I'd happily use longer if the situation needs it.

How do you manage casting that out at that length? 1m max for me unleaded leader as well far safer in my eyes.

When using Fluro main line I fish unleaded leaders quite short around 14”
I believe I've been getting more bites since I shortened them from 3ft

long arms & a big drop. is a PITA for distance casting but short to medium range, no problems at all.
