I don't carp fish in the depths of winter so it's more for pike fishing when sat bobbing about in a boat, and carp fishing early spring / late autumn when the evenings are cold.
Needs to be pretty warm as I don't want to wear several layers, and also fairly waterproof.
Don't care if fishing brand or not, but don't want anything Korda / Nash / FOX.
Happy for it to be fairly bulky but need to be able to move about on the boat and cast a lure about so not a winter suit / bib and brace style top as they are usually crazy thick.
Ideally around £100.. Maybe a little more if needed.. Been looking at the aqua f12 thermal but don't like the look of the shiny / reflective material inside
Friend had the pro logic winter jacket and seems pretty good but I fish with him alot and don't want to look the same 🤣

The Snugpak range is tried and tested mate, I have the Torrent myself and have done for a few years.
Some will say sizing can be hit or miss, and zip can be a little temperamental. Nothing wrong with mine and size is on par with anything else I have tried. It is warm and uses the body heat reflected back to create and trap warmth. A base layer and t-shirt underneath should see you good. Paired with a good warm hat, and away you go 👍

As Framey has said, try the catchdry.
I have one and it is the best fishing coat I've ever owned, and I've been through loads. I also have a North Face top of the range Parka as I always feel the cold, but I don't want this on the bank.
I am 6ft 6, and prefer a longer coat for 7 or 8 months of the year for my fishing. You won't need many layers underneath as you'd asked for. The pockets are also insulated.
You've said happy with around £100 or more, they're £120/£130.
Fully waterproof too, I've worn mine when it has been pissing it down.
Also, their customer service is the best I have ever experienced as I bought the wrong the size for me. They even arranged the courier etc, kept in touch via emails.
They've also just brought out a darker olive colour, which I now have and it is lovely. They've plenty of other colours and camo etc.

Ad have snugpak sj9 jacket for £114 at the minute. Dont think you will get better for that money.
