So let's have a MK 2 hack thread!
Bored over Christmas and because I manage to lose a peg a month on my day Brolly and then have to craft an emergency peg I'm threading these on the Brolly loops and they have enough length to stay there forever - cord - pegs and a drill - might be handy for any idiots like me...

Hmmmm, I could see them going down well with me with being a clumsy bugger, I find its dangerous enough wearing croc's and walking too close to the bivvy in tight swims and the top of the tent peg goes into one of the holes in the side of my croc's, and down I go, face down into the deck, done it many times and never learnt my lesson. Those cord hoops would definitely be a recipe for catching my feet in.
But, what I use is a big tent peg puller for pulling pegs out of the ground.
But, for a MK2, how about connecting all the pegs together on the paracord and you can rip them out of the ground all in one go!!!! Tow them out with the car!!!
Or, buy some fluroscent paracord, then they will be easier to see so you don't lose them, Aldi's sell it now and then
Or get some of reflective paracord you can buy for guy ropes, stops you walking into them in the dark, but also helps once again by not losing them if you pack up in dark.

Ah get ya - I will still be pegging through the eyelet so no trip hazard, it's just so thru will be ‘permanently' connected to the four eyelets every when packed away (if that makes any sense) - hence the need for slightly longer as you need enough cord to hold peg straight and go into eyelet. Thanks for feedback

I use a Nash Blockhouse which comes with guy ropes and I buy the cheapest glow sticks I can find that have the little hook on top and put one on each corner 👍

Used to spray all my bivvy pegs white ,never tripped over them, nor did I lose any ..
I'd like to see manufactures of luggage to make the interiors in bright colours especially rucksacks and carryall,so you can actually see what ,you have. a few camping brands do that ..

Reminds me a bit of kids mittens of yesteryear that had a cord joining them that ran up the arms and across the back of a jacket

Years ago I tried to invent a sprung rig board for my steamed stiff sections, mine may have looked better but £6 ish and I actually really like it, lightweight easy to use double sided and carp tax free at around £6 on eBay
