with high pressure dominant in the UK and the general fishing slow/poor I'm going out tomorrow to try a couple of adjustable zigs on a deep water.
I soak my zig foam in liquid but what else do you think I could do baiting wise to get a bit of attraction in the water..
I'm going to fish the two rods at the same e distance I to deep water and start off 3 ft off the bottom and the other 2ft off the top in 19ft of water and adjust throughout the session to try and find the depth the fish could be at.
I'm looking for ideas that will rise up and down the water column. to help give some attraction.

Isn't mainline smart liquid made to fill the water colum?
Maybe spod some pellets soaked in the stuff and see if it works

I use dna's smoke but the viscosity of it isn't as thick as smart liquid

19ft deep.id spod out cloud and fish 12 to 16ft unless its been really cold in your area.

I wouldn't say conditions look that bad for the weekend? The high pressure drops over the weekend, full moon and double figure temperatures in the day.

I was going to the venue thats deep, however I popped into my syndicate on my way past just for a mooch as it has been a bit moody last week, one stuck it's head up so I've dropped on here. been here since lunchtime and no other shows other than that 1

There are a few venues here in the Midlands getting the pumps on.

Same round this way..... mainly smaller waters. That lack of wind last 2.5 weeks combined with decaying leaf matter and wind has sucked the life out of smaller places a mate has 2 pumps on the go at mo and this place is very low stocked. I dont remember lakes having problems in mid november before

This weekend though conditions changed....
I did an overnighter last weekend in a spot well sheltered from the wind and not near any trees, there was nobody else on the lakes and I bagged a 30+ common which is a pb for me on this lake so was well chuffed.

I was out last Friday night and Saturday, managed a couple of mid 20 mirrors a 17lb common and a scabby old tench on Saturday when the wind was in full swing. I struggled with the last carp as the landing net wanted to fly over my shoulder or get pinned to the floor lol.
