Morning all

Due to the fact I'm getting old and a couple of other things I've got arthritis in my right hand (thumb and most knuckles) and I'm really struggling to tie knots. Even a simple ones for the end of a hair rig.

I'm reluctant to not tie my own rigs so is there anything out there that, that others have used, that could help me with knot tying?

Maybe a fly tying vice would help. I often use a hooked baiting needle to pull loops through to form basic loop knots.

These are really handy for loop tying, for arthritic or just cold hands, loads of them available...

Was wondering whether a fly vice would help.

I already use a baiting needle to pull a loop knot through, but struggling to even get my thumb and fingers in the right position for this.

My left hand is ok so I may have to try and train it!!

Having a few small sets of forceps can help mate, similar to the fly tying vice, just lets you hold the hook and knots without having the squeeze/ tighten your fingers etc, plus you can lock them into place.
