Just watching tom stokes and ozzy Holmes on st Ives via YouTube........wife says why are his waders so wide at the top? I stopped I thought I don't actually know to be honest.....

Don't think Tom Stokes is the biggest of chaps. My waders have a draw string at the top for a snugger fit and obviously to keep water out. They don't need drawing in much to be fair..
I hate watching fishing related stuff with the misses. They do say the stupidest things at times..

They do yes but I did wonder why they in General they fit tight rather than loose,wider means more water intake but easier to get out of, a snug fit would mean less water but probably harder to get out of .
