So i've gone through the search function looking for options and have currently come up with a few options.
Tacklebox CFX - Over budget by a fair whack but top choice
Shimano TX plus
Free spirit CTX
Because of my immense stature i'm looking at 13ft rods, I can just about manage 150 yards with my aircurves and want to be able to match this with a spod. Appreciate the help

I'd go fs Launcher spod. £185 for the 13ft at JR. Ctx is nice (I have one) but think the launcher is a better rod.

13' Freespirit SLite SPM - I picked mine up new a few years back for £150; monster rod but lighter than either the Hi-S or Launcher in the same length . . .

I've just got the 12ft CTX having used a Greys Distance Spomb. CTX is so much lighter and easier to use. Not gone as long as you need to mind but I really like the CTX range. My main rods for distance are 12ft CTX 3.5 SUs which are brilliant too.
