Could do with some advice please guys.

I use 10ft rods and fish a max distance of 75 - 80 mtrs on my local venue.

I have a fox impact spomb and want to use it to bait up at that distance.

Will my 10ft 3lb T/C rod do the job or not, and what strength braid will I need.

I would prefer not to have to use a finger stall strap If I can get away with it. Will I need to use a mono shock leader to do this or am I thinking it all wrong?

I don't know how big the fox impact spod is but
I have a set of 9 foot 2 3/4 rods that I can use a small spod easily at that distance.
They struggle if I change that to a midi spod I can feel they don't like it.
I wouldn't expect the rods to last too long using them so I bought a 9foot “utility” rod to do that job if I need it.

Good shout on the utility rod, just ordeedr one thanks.

I would say at that distance 10 or 12lb mono with a tapered shock leader will be fine. Or 30lb braid straight through. But don't risk that without a finger stall or casting glove. I've seen the result of a spool that's slipped when casting a spod with braid. It was not a huge chuck but cut to the bone.

Good call regarding finger stalls, it's not worth the risk...

35lb Gardner Kinetic Spod Braid (0.30) straight through, with a used golf glove. (you might be able to find a right handed one in the bin at your nearest Golf club).
No faffing around with leaders.
Best this way if you're new to spodding.

Best improvement I ever made to spodding was going straight through with a 35lb braid.

Almost instantly eliminated fraps and boosted confidence to really launch!

I just ordered two casting cannons from Aliexpress for less than £5 for my beach rods when braid fishing straight through, might be a worthy alternative to a finger stall if you don't like using them?

I'd never heard of these and spent a few years shore fishing! Are they as nifty as they make out they are?

All about timing and feels very un natural to start but they do work. Personally I'd rather use a glove.

A glove etc is so dramatic.
Just a finger stall is great and the Temu ones are only £1.25 each, they are better than the shop ones..
