Hi all,
Taking around 20kg of freezer baits to France in a couple of weeks.
Need to keep them fresh for a week. Thinking of coating them in liquid (CCM pacific tuna) and a liberal dose of Himalayan rock salt.
Will this work? Any other advice/methods?
Cheers
Phil

Poly Box from your local aquarium place, they usually give them away, or you can buy them online, then a cooling method of your choice. Personally I've used frozen 2ltr pop bottles with water in and other times freezer blocks. If you fear they're getting too warm and can get to the supermarkets bags of icecubes are cheap as chips.
EDIT, sticking a old duvet around the poly box helps no end,

Air dry them, then rehydrate when you are there if you feel the need. Air drying helps with the poisons/cray if there's any in there
This time of year they should pretty much last the week anyway, especially with a little glaze of oil/whatever

I used to take them frozen straight from freezer to a cool box and then hang in a tree in a sack once arrived at lake to start the air dry process. easily lasted a week then
Just need to turn them over every once in a while to mix them up so the inside once become outside etc.
Just hope it doesn't rain or if you have somewhere dry to hang them even better.

I guess it depends on the bait re air drying, DNA S7 cracks all over the place so I never air dry it.
(it did for me anyway, that was a long time ago, maybe it doesn't now)
