can anyone tell me where the compass is located on an rt4 bait boat . i wish to change my toslon unit . i've only managed to locate the transducer in centre of boat but cannot access other areas of the boat without having to taking it to bits can't say i fancy my chances with that ... any help much appreciated thanks john

There isn't a compass in the boat as far as I'm aware

yes i've found it can only just feel it . unable to move it seems to sealed in . if i bought a new unit would i be able to position it in boat centre ?

Do you mean gps transmitter ??

The compass keeps the boat running straight despite any wind or currents whilst in autopilot..
I'd therefore expect it would have to be at the front of the boat
