What's your best way to prepare tiger nuts?

I know the soak and cook, but are your times different to the standard ones, what flavours are you adding and when, what other tips and tricks do you have for preparing your tigers?

Soak 24 hours In water, boil, add a couple of handfuls of sugar in while hot, seal in a bucket for 3-4 days. No flavours, total waste of time

I've heard them being prepared in Cola and various energy drinks before. A bit of a talked about in hushed tones method was adding a flavour called Choc B to the mix.

I soak for at least 3/4 days then boil for around 30 mins, have done it this way for years, I add a few drops of betalin and some brown sugar at the soaking stage, they snot up good and proper everytime.

They all come from one or two places in valencia Spain I believe. So quality should be pretty consistent where ever you get them from.

do a search for the coca cola method. I use it all the time now & have been able to store them in it too.

Even if they were all to come from the same field they would still be graded by quality.

How are you storing them in the liquid? Are you just freezing it?

black airtight bucket - dark corner of the shed.

made the mistake of leaving the bucket out in the garden the other night & the raccoons got in - managed to get through about 3kg in a night. gutted.
