I wish to purchase a low to mid range bait boat and have now narrowed it down to one of the three below:
Boatman Actor plus
ND2
Rippton Catch X mini
The ND2 and the Rippton offer the ability to completely map out swims automatically with the added software and sonar, but can anyone give any other pro's and cons of each one.
PS, I am not interested in any mega cheap boats or any over 2K.

Just something to factor in.
If the boat breaks down where do you have to send it / what is after sales service like .

I've got an actor plus and cannot fault it. I would go as far to say the after sales alone is worth it. Their owners group on faceache is full of happy customers and the owners themselves answer most if not all questions people ask on there. They only seem to go wrong if not looked after as far as I can see, and if there is a problem they seem uber fast at getting it sorted. The boat itself is as good as you'll get for the money. I went standard boat myself without gps, thinking I can just buy the gps kit at a later date if I wanted. Works out far cheaper to buy the gps version from the off though.
Although the nd2 is probably regarded as the 'better' boat, it is much heavier, but likely better suited to a heavy chop in the water. Depends what kind of water you'll be fishing I guess. But the autopilot function is locked until you pay another silly amount of money also. Can't comment on the other boat you mentioned but out of those 2 it's the actor plus for me.

Really decent fully loaded SB3 on FBM at the mo - one off carbon white / Toslon TF740 (Sonar & GPS) / integrated winch cam / bag / PVA cover - just serviced and new sonar box - bargain!

I don't think £199 for an auto pilot function which seamlessly fits into the app and and handset with all software already enabled can be classed as a “silly” amount. Plus if you buy the basic boat which is GPS fitted and ready, adding the autopilot only brings it up to the £750 mark.
Silly- no not really. Just upgradeable and still a hell of a lot cheaper ( and better) than a lot of comparable boats.

If you go down the actor route get there new vulcan boat instead of the actor plus.

I have the Rippton Intrepid bait boat which is the Catch X without the fancy options and so far (used it like 6 times) it's been really great. Putting your rig in from the top is a fantastic gimmick.
