I'm after a landing net that's easy to dismantle 42inch or bigger could anyone recommend me one that's not to expensive
I had a saber one before and it literally took the strength of the incredible hul to dismantle
I have a pole already but would consider new one

If you already have a landing net pole go one eBay you can get the NGT landing net arms net mesh and spreader block for under £15 posted it has the easy design spreader block to get the net arms in and out and will screw onto your net pole

Ignore all the rubbish about funny looking landing nets with iffy graphics and extreme prices. They're grooming u, the Rolf Harris of landing nets some of these wronguns.
Had 4 40s since Feb in 2024, only possible with that MATRIX net.

Doesn't really fit the spec though price wise. I have to agree re ease of use, it's one of the easiest nets to put together and take apart. I bought one of the newer Gardner nets with the tiny block and little spiggots on the net arms and hated it. I bought a specific quick release spreader block and just couldn't get on with it. I went back to the trusted old design as per the Matrix net and love it, well worth the money IMO.

I'm very happy with my new Prologic inspire 46'' Landing Net, like it more then my previos Fox x4 landing net

Second this, I bought a full net, but will be buying a 2nd block and arms for my 2 piece handle, so easy to set up and collapse the net with the tackle box spreader block

Not that this is going to help you but if you hadn't of said it I would have recommended the Saber carbon one. I have one and it's a great net easy to put and take etc. I prefer it by far to my other nets.

Solar Bow-Lite . . . simple / stiff enough / decent spreader / easy to assemble and collapse - decent mid sized mesh; shop around for a good price - I picked up a pair from Go Outdoors for under £150

Had the same problem with my Sonik VaderX 42' Landing net. I broke the spreader block screw "TWICE" before I gave up. Damn near pulled my arms out of the sockets taking it apart!!!
Still looking for a replacement that isn't too heavy/bulky. I'm thinking about the Gardner Carbon Compact 42" net. I found it on BCT for $89.95, and it looks easy to assemble (without having to spend $150 or more).

Don't jump on me here but I take it you are using your elbow on one net arm and hand on the other to take the pressure off. I can't see how you would have problems if you are.

I use the floor to bend lower arm to take pressure off , have done for 30+ years 🤷🏼♂️😂
