Any recommendations guys please? I'm getting some ridiculous quotes.

I just used Evri for a bivvy and it was £16 for Next Day Signed For and insured up to £200.

Just make sure you weigh your package accurately as you'll find it's lighter than you think which keeps the cost down.

I was charged 40 quid by Evri and it took them over 7 days. Price was a mixture of length and weight.

Won't ever use them again

When i last sent one the post office came in the cheapest and easiest to use and was delivered and signed for next day

I would look at DPDs prices , great service and always on time.

Last time I sent a bivvy I think I used a company called parcel monkey who find the cheapest courier for you based on size, weight etc.

Pretty sure it ended up being DPD but it was a few years ago......

Beware of using ‘umbrella' companies who then offer cheaper deals with courier companies. Although the actual carrier (DPD, Tuffnells, Parcelforce etc) delivers your item, if it goes pear shaped then your dispute is with the booking company not the actual carrier company. The booking ‘umbrella' companies have T&C's that actually make it nigh on impossible to claim back any loss or damage and the best you will get is 10% ‘goodwill' gesture on your next delivery with them if you were ever stupid enough to use them again.

It's a barely legal **** show.

One of the worst ever is Parcel Hero. I'd rather buy a new mobile phone contract from ‘David' in Mumbai than use this bunch of shysters again.

Try parcelforce website and you can drop it of at the post office for them to collect
