Long shot here.


So I have delkim txds and use to use there bobbins that lit up woth the night marking feature and found them really hand..

But I ended up buying a jag pod... And so I had to get the jag bobbins to match or I was never going to catch again.

So I'm looking for a way of putting the night marking into the jag bobbins. I think it will be quite easy to do im just wondering if anyone knows how there wired up from that 2.5mm socket on the bottom of the delks. As far as I can see (from pics) the plugs on the nitelights is 2 pole (the band on the actual plug) but any electronic techs in here can help?

Plan is to find out what plug I need then get some leds and reto fit them into the safe liners where the isotope goes.

It's just a mini jack which I assume is wired tip +ve, if not, it will be the other way round

Got ya... So just a 2 pole plug? Didn't know if it would be 3 pole-one being for the night marking anf one being the run light

If you grab the jack and twist the bottom they come apart. I'm sure there is just 2 wires.

Great I'll see if I can pick one up second hand

You'll struggle with this, the Led is expoxied in to the head, so you wont be able to transfer it. Best to start from scratch. Tip is negative I believe, there is one very fine gauge insulated wire and one steel multistrand 'cable' probably 18 awg ish, which provides the strain relief. Mono jack, 2 pole, 2.5mm.. A 3mm led for a 3v supply would probably be ok..

Thanks for that... Yer I was going to do it from scratch as it will cost alot cheaper.
Only problem I seem to be having is finding a cable that's suitable. I belive delk use catflex cable (which they apparently made themselves) I don't think it will made by them and must be able to buy it somewhere-it's just finding it

Delks are Negative tip, totally opposite to every other alarm if i am not mistaken
well the TXI's were
2.5mm jack

The 'cable' as such, will be specific to the hanger, delk will make it themselves, not an off the reel product I'm afraid..

It would be a nice thing to achieve if you can do it, would work well with those hangers I reckon..

Yer I'm struggling to find anything like it. I can get stainless but nothing in black like I need.

I always thought delkim were 3.5mm jacks and everyone else was 2.5mm

From the delkim website

The small 2.5mm socket is for the NiteLite Pro/ES NiteLite Pro.
The large 3.5mm socket (Ev/Standard Plus only) is for Tx Plus micro transmitter or using a lead for an extension box
