Currently using esp syncro loaded been a good line but anything else these days on the market better?

Not really a question with a clear answer. Some cast better, some sink better, some are more abrasion resistant. No one line has it all

The normal xt is much nicer than the loaded version.

I've just started using this on rec from Braders, got to say 1st impressions are very good, it's been dragged through reeds, hung in trees & it's not even scuffed!

ESP Syncro XT NORMAL is a far better line than the loaded
as its a completely different line and one of the best all round monos available IMHO

Based on a lot of recommendations on here I spooled up with the Sync XT. I know I'm in a minority but I just couldn't get on with it. I had terrible trouble with it coiling off my reels. Not sure if I got a duff spool of it but it just behaved really badly for me. What I would say is that it cast well, I never got cut off and I landed mid thirties on it without any incident. So in that respect it did what I wanted but it just seemed to coil badly when not under tension. In the end I stripped it off and went back on to GTHD.

What BS were you using? It gets a bit wirery above 15lb.

I've used the TA OGX and liked it. ESP Syncro XT is great. I have got on well with the Avid Outline (got a free spool with a reel I bought) and it's been great.
Most of the time line doesn't work for me it's because I didn't check it after landing a fish and it was frayed.

Can't remember the exact breaking strain. We have a 0.40 diameter rule on one of my tickets, so whichever that was. I'm guessing 15 or 18lb.

15 is 0.37mm so you would be on the 18lb

Another vote for ESP Syncro XT, use that or original Berkley Big Game. Used to like Berkley Pro Spec Mono for distance casting but it's discontinued now unfortunately.

I have syncro xt 18lb and it seems fine to me.
If you had it coiling then that's down to how you have loaded your spools.

It's great line..... when fishing solid bags at range I use the 15 lb which is .37 👍
