Anyone know of any shop that has a 13' Aviator spod rod in stock ? Standard legacy factory build. Checked at main stockists.

I tried to find one in January and couldn't find one anywhere. In the end I got Mark Tunley to build me one.

I got one made by jeff rawstorne ( jeffire), top quality, and cheaper than off the shelf. Plus it's unique.

Jeff is busy for next 6 weeks not rod building. Was hoping to pick up a standard factory built from a stockist.

If you can't find stock speak to Lee Preston. He has built all my rods and is excellent

Lee peston built my 13ft aviator spod rod really pleased with it and it was cheaper than shop bought

Contacted Lee, unfortunately for me he is very busy and advised 12 week build time.

Have you tried speaking to Harrison? They will know who they stock with factory builds.

Not many shops if any will have them in stock. If you think about it a bloke will come in and buy 3 rods , he will only ever buy 1 spod rod . There is,nt a big profit on rods these days especially top end so that spod rod could sit in the shop for a long time.

Speak to Hennessy rods he used to build for the tackle box his now gone independent 07534 861648 his probably got a shorter lead time
