Hello, haven't been on here for a while.
As the title says i am in the market for a couple of 10ft carp rods.
Not paying silly prices as these will only be used in the summer months on swims with limited casting areas/weedy lakes.
I know sonik do one and daiwa do a crosscat version, but any recommendations would be grateful.

I've just bought a pair of Cotswold Rods Pace compacts and 1st impressions are very good. Just over £100 each so not stupid money but feel quality. As they are new can't comment on longevity. I also have some Sonik Dominator 10ft rods in 3lb tc (not contractable) and they have been good and landed me carp to over 40lb, only got the new rods as needed the compact transport size for a couple of French trips next year

I bought some Avid Exodus to leave in the car if memory serves me correctly I got 3 for around £120 and I paired them with some old shimano 4000 baitrunners, I'm not going to try and kid anyone that there as good as my Century's that I use for session fishing but for the money I simply can't fault them and these are now my go to short session/day rods having retired 2 year's ago , mine are 10ft 3lb tc ,sadly they've been superceded by the pro version so I can't really comment on these but I bet there identical Ive given mine at least 5 year's of abuse and still going strong

Have a look I have korum xtnd 10ft 2.75 use as leave in car rods good for £120 the pair they also do them in 2-25tc
