I'm looking for a runs water for beginners where I cas take my son fishing in the summer holidays.
Size not important just that it's super easy and allows kids to fish overnight.

Go on embryo lakes website there is a family water section they might have something near you.

Long drive but Ladywood small lake in Mirfield is great to take kids. 500 fish in 2.5 acres, average low-mid doubles with plenty of 20's. They love a floater, can catch plenty in the margins etc. Zigs with slop works really well too - it's 26ft deep so adjustables are needed. Check out their FB page.
If you go, take at least 20kg of floaters as there are some ducks to feed off, plus a LOT of fish. I took 5kg and was completely frustrated as I had groups of fish repeatedly feeding in front of me until the ducks arrived and I didn't have enough to see them off. I caught on floaters in the dark past 10pm.
I'm there 7/8/9th August in double peg 1 with my kids.
