Anybody had any experience with Mick balls bait company based down in Ramsgate. I believe he was originally based up in Shropshire. Been in the bait game a while from what I'm lead to believe. Don't seem to hear to much about them. Anyone care to give some feedback.

I met him when he was in the midlands , did a lot of rolling for other companies ,had a bait with snails in I seem to remember ,if it is the same guy ought to be good bait.

I went down there to have a look at their shed on my way to ABS, couldn't go in as it was locked up. I haven't been back

Personally know nothing about MB baits but I am sure Frank Warwick uses them. He mentioned it in a recent carpology article.

I used to use his snail and shell when he was based in Leek. Always had great service when I ordered. The pop ups were buoyant, but I wouldn't leave them out for days, tho. Shame he no longer makes the snail and shell.... it really did catch.

I believe he stopped because he could no longer get hold of one of the ingredients. Probably the snall? There were a few company's doing a snail shell bait at one time. Be hard pushed to find any doing one now?

Hi Andy,
I remember you switching Bob and I onto that bait many many moons ago, it was legend.

It caught everywhere... true story this. Was on Redmill lake Brittany some years ago. One of the lads was struggling. Gave him a pound of bait. Had his first fish an hour later! Great bait, but man did it stink!
