Does anyone know any company i can use to post a fishing rod. I've tried all the usual companies but they either won't accept it or want near on £40 to take it. The rod is only worth around £40 anyway. any help would be greatly appreciated thanks.

about £35 on tuffnalls was the only option last time i looked at it

Average price will be £30+

Parcel force were the cheapest I found to post 12ft rods and they still wanted £35 booked through their website

You wont get anyone sub £35 and thats without insurance

£44 recently on parcel force with insurance. Length seems to be the issue rather than the total volume which I think is how it used to be done

Only Post if you absolutly have to Post !!

Trust me I've had a Nightmare in the last few weeks with Posting a Rod. I'll never ever do it again !!

Last time I sold rods on eBay , I used Paisley Freight they collected from my house on a designated day and delivered no problems . I'm not sure what areas they collect from or if they sub it out to the most local courier company.

I've cancelled the sale, I'll be relisting for the winner to pick it up lol.

I posted 2 soniks a few years ago and the post office didn't want to take them in the end they took them

Post office wont take anything over 150 cm. Parcel force will but only collection or drop off at Parcel force depot.My nearest is 62 mile away.
