This appears perfect for me with zipped in ground sheet and compact size.
Any long term faults I need to know before buying ?

Hi Neil

Had mine for about 3 and a bit years , udder regularly summer through to winter

Nothing has leaked, torn ,broken or worn out (I brought a spare groundsheet when new , still in its box ). The adjustment mechanism works as well as it did when new

Light, easy to set up and put away as the bag is a good size , cant fault it really

The only little niggle is that it suffers from condensation if its cold and you are all zipped up but all small single skin shelters I've ever used have been the same

Overwrap sorts that out and is again really easy to fit even though its only available in camo and the bivvy is green

Very good quality in my opinion , highly recommended

I'd echo exactly what's been said below. Brilliant bivvy, my only gripe is rain coming straight at you, then you really need to put the front on as it's not got a big overhang. I usually put the over wrap on and leave the front off for a bit of extra coverage. Use mine for over nighters to weeks in France.

do you know if it can be packed away with the full infill panel attached ?

I assume you must remove zipped in groundsheet each time ?

Yes you must take the groundsheet out. The front I'd guess if you undone the door zips you could leave it on but I'm not certain.

i really rate this bivvy - i like the zip in groundsheet as it deters rodents

I have had mine a couple of years now and it has been brilliant. No leaks, no issues with the mechanism and by far the best bivvy I have owned. Great in winter when you want the groundsheet and infill. In summer I don't bother with either of these and it can be set up in seconds. For some it would appear to be too small but I like the compact nature of it and it makes you keep your bivvy tidy! Some nice features on it include the side pockets where you can keep keys, wallet, head torch etc as well as the drip protector in the roof of the bivvy which definitely helps. I would not hesitate in recommending this bivvy to anybody.

No. I was advised by the tackle shop not to do that.

If you leave the zips for the door undone it will be fine,I've never took the front of any of my shelters and not once have I had any issues
