Evening all 👏 currently fishing in the northwest area and I am looking for a new bait this year after scrolling around have decided on one of the two mentioned in thread name. Rollin baits 'optimum or dark spell' or from Cheshire baits 'mandem' would like to know of anybodys experience with either of these firms or baits? Cheers in advance

I've used Rollin baits on and off for a while. Great service and quality product so would happily recommend them

The results my dad has had on optimum the last year have been ridiculously good. If you don't mind paying for it, it's a cracking bait. Not sure there are too many better. He raves about their service also. All orders are completed in a timely manner and nearly always include a freebie or two as well. A tub of pop ups, prototype hookbaits or liquids before general release

That's great thanks for the feed back guys, much appreciated

I don't mind paying a bit more for it. Just use less, sometimes less is more. Make sure to try and put it in the right place.

Never used rollin baits but the mandem is a great bait with a very well proven record. Swampy is a top bloke and will always do you right.

Lot of good fish pictures on his page and i know a lot of top northwest fish that have fallen to mandem which don't get publicised. Pretty sure it has also accounted for Mr Angry a few times as well

Cheshire bait and feed for me especially if your nw. Dan's baits are all good but the mandem just seems to have that special sauce and has caught some amazing fish at some very tough waters.

Not saying optimum isn't good but it's more expensive than the mandem and I honestly believe Dan's bait is better. Have a chat with him
