Hi

I know Oxford Baits roll McNut but is there anywhere else that rolls the ABS Hydra K?

Doesn't that defeat the object as someone else may cut the base mix with cheaper ingredients?

At least ABS don't need to

As long as they are a reputable company I will be happy to order from them.

It's pretty much rolled to order by ABS and collected or sent out to the punter. Give them a ring. They are a reliable company. I have been using them for about 4 or 5 yrs. hydra k is a good bait.

Why don't you want to get it direct from ABS?

Just the price really.

McNut for example is cheaper from Oxford Baits than ABS direct.

I know I should and probably will just end up ordering from ABS but I wanted to see if anyone else offered it.

Oxford Baits have no affiliation with ABS. Hampshire tackle sell Hydra K rolled by Geoff but not sure how the price compares to buying it direct.

So are you saying the McNut from Oxford Baits is a different bait to ABS?

I was told Oxford Baits buy the basemix from ABS and roll the same recipe.

I have no idea if they are the same recipe or not but all Oxford baits are now made in house from scratch. They have no affiliation with ABS as I said.

There's two ways of bringing the price down. One is to call the factory and negotiate a price cheaper than the website, the second is to meet the boilie bus as it does its deliveries and that will save you some pennies on the delivery. If you're near the colne valley in particular there's drop offs most weeks.

ABS Hydra K or Solar's SSK? who's rolling for who answers on a postcard but I think I know the answer.

The Hydra-K utilizes the very best ingredients available to us. These include pre digested fish meals and a blend of hydrolysed fish protein liquids, amino stimulants from krill and a high level of betaine. The base mix uses the best krill meal, fish meals, birdfoods, milk proteins and vitamin supplements.
