Anyone using the Aqua roving rucksack and what do you think of it. Also what's the difference between it and the deluxe version?

Had one when first came out the zip pullers came off and the lining inside came apart there was not enough material pushed under before being stitched the shop gave me another same thing happened there's better out there the speero compact is good quality or the esp QuickDraw both a lot cheaper

I have the totally opposite experience to bivvybug, I have one and it's the best rucksack I've ever owned... Great build quality and design imo. Although I use it on a barrow, rather than carrying as a rucksack. I can't see me ever going back to a top access rucksack.

Standard one is fine, the deluxe is crap....had one when they first came out, zips failed first use...sent it back, same on the replacement, sent it back, same on the third....gave up and switched to the Trakker version which is as good as the day it arrived nearly 3 years ago now.

Aqua aren't the premium brand they used to be unfortunately

I've had one for years. I love the design. I then changed to the solar barrow ruck bag. Which I prefer, more comfortable, better handles, zips and storage space.

I have the deluxe roving one and mines been spot on - no problems with zips on mine and its be used a tonne for the past few years.

That being said I bought it for a water Id joined as it had a steep hill from the carpark and I wanted to get weight off my barrow, but my new water you can drop your gear off in the swim and then go and park up so now considering going back to a carryall or barrow bag, or perhaps even those stacking boxes.

I know its a marmite thing, but I like the fact you can use bags within bags - once Im setup the main rucksack usually slides under my bed and stays there until I pack up and I only have out the inner bags/bits I need.
