Does anyone know of a company that makes removable/Quick change inline leads?
Like the current Cygnet ones or the old Avid ones? Basically an inline lead with a slit up the middle, held in place by a stem.

I can still buy the ones you mention, but i don't like the stem of the avid ones, and you could also look at the ones from pb products. I believe anaconda also do a removable inline lead with a soft insert, but hard to find a shop that's not in eastern euirope to get those.

Thanks for the response. I have seen the pb ones. I have also seen some Trakker and Cygnet ones.
Think i was hoping someone could suggest somebody who makes leads to purchase them abit cheaper, rather than from a tackle shop.

2 mins with a hacksaw and a bit of emery paper and you can convert any inline to a removable one

You can make your own with a short length of leadfree leader, or any leader for that matter. No need for stalks.
Just thread the leader through the tail rubber for the lead and splice a swivel type of your choice on the end of the leader. Poke the barrel of the swivel into the hole at the bottom of the lead and wrap the leader round the outside of the lead and push the tail rubber over the insert, pull it all tight and the lead won't drop off on the cast or a normal retrieve, but if you get a take the lead will drop off.
I use 5-6” lengths of lead free leader, and splice a double big ring swivel on one end, my rig just loops to loops onto the other big ring swivel, and I splice a loop on the other end. Make pre-tying a doddle and I usually just tie onto the spliced loop with a 5 turn grinner and I like to use it with rig tubing, if you fish naked the. You can just loop to loop. I also cover the knot, rig tubing and top of the lead free leader with a 1” long bit of silicon tubing, a cut down long rig aligner works well.

I have seen the drop off style leads, not sure i wanted that style.
Good idea to do it myself though if i do go down that route.

I did about 20 4oz flat in lines with an angle grinder in about 5 mins, probably could do with a Dremel but may take a little longer.
