Looking into the aqua ultralite 100 ev as it ticks a lot of boxes for me with it being light and brolly like, however I can't find any info as to wether you can leave the front in to pack away and erect does anyone know what the situation with this is please .

You probably could but you'd need to leave the door unzipped.
It's a tight squeeze in the bag with the Brolly and Skull Cap so doubt it'd fit with the front on too.

I love it,best bivvy I've owned.I can fit my solar sp c tech bed in it with bivvy table,korda compac coolbag,Korda dark camo rucksack and three other bags under the bed.There is room at the back of the bed if needed too

It says it weighs 5. Something kg and then an extra 7 odd for the pegs infills etc
It doesn't actually sound that light to me
Can seee where the weight is though
Does it actually need storm sticks to keep it upright ?

Without the front you can use it with just the side sticks in place, with the front on it you need to have them all in place!

Diehard original Ultralite user for over a decade and recently replaced with the Ultralite 100. . Have owned (and still own) a plethora of bivvies post and prior but still go back to this design as the most versatile for typical UK 12-48hr fishing . . .the combination of head-height / compact footprint / stability / visibility and all season versatility trumps Standard Brolly systems / Tempest type and Pramhood variants IMO
Only ever leave the skull cap on and pack the gsheet / infill / mozzie fronts in either the barrow or car boot for use as required and weather dependent. Always use both sets of storm sticks irrespective of the above . . .

That's a bargain price for a bit of kit that should last - always buy the skull cap - you're fishing twin skin all year round which makes a big difference in terms of regulating warm and cold temps as well as totally removing any condensation . . .the only element I believe needs a re-design is the insect panel - a bit superfluous and although a nice addition in summer (ambient/open air but still creates privacy etc) the standard infill with the mesh windows open works just as effectively and fits far better . . .
