I'm changing from lead clips to running leads with Fluorocarbon line. I gave all my lead / rod bands to my nephew, so need to buy new ones. I seem to remember some that had a pocket to put the lead in , and a padded velcro strap to put around the rod. Can anyone tell me the best currently available.

The gardner ones are very good,they have a flap that goes between the rod and a nice velcro part for the lead to sit inside

I use Ngt ones from eBay. Two sizes in the packet and the bigger one has a lead pocket. They are soft and Velcro and not expensive.

Thanks. I've ordered the ngt ones, hope they do the job. If not i will let everybody know and order tha Gardner ones. Thanks again.

You'll be fine with the NGT one's had them on my 10ft rods now for about 5 year's, don't be fooled by there cheaper price I've found a lot of the luggage/accessories to be superb value

They will be fine. I have been using them for ages. The tip and butt protectors are good as well.
