Korda Kaptor hooks on ebay are £1.99 posted. Discontinued or terrible hooks?

Be careful when buying hooks off people rather than businesses from eBay / online auction shops.....
I heard about one chap who bought hooks from tackle shops and used them then re-packed them and sold on eBay, to fund new hook purchases....
There's wronguns everywhere.....
I thought the Kaptor hooks were ok, as previously said, the smaller sizes are nearly always on offer in the clearance section of the online tackle shops

Brilliant hooks, I bought 18 packs as below a few weeks ago now, last a while

One of the guys who did a podcast buys from all the major brands and puts them on eBay as a side hussle.
Used to work for Korda or cypography (not Elliott)
He got the idea of his father in law who buys overstocks or something like that

Listened to the same podcast I think it was the guy who's in with Daryl on the Carpfix venture, a good idea buy cheap overstock or end of lines etc.. at the right price then if you've got room to store it and in no rush to move it list it on ebay at a marginal profit and let the sales steadily tick away.

Never understood how this works, how do people make money having to, label and take 15 envelopes of hooks to the post office every day. Surely all the time and effort negates the 50p profit per pack you make?

He probably only paying 10p a pack because of the bulk.
Explains why I'll never be a millionaire coz I wouldn't want to do it..

At that point it's not a "side hustle" though. The logistics of that would be a full time job surely? Unless maybe there's a way to automate it somehow.

I've just started using them again since they became so cheap online I grabbed a load, used them in the past and they've been spot on

They seem a bit on the small size, I'm on a water where max is 10 so I look for the biggest 10 I can use with a 20mm boilie to battle the F1's.
I bought chodda 8 and they were too small compared to a 10 mugga for example.
I know, different pattern. I paid even less. 99p

I never had an issue with them,sharp out the packet and seemed to hold upto a few captures before a touch up was needed
