Such a shame for Craig and his customers. Copied from A2 facebook page.

So after much thought....
I've decided to close A2baits with immediate affect.

Have rolled my last boilie and hookbait for the time being, never say never but for now that's it....

I'm not selling my equipment at the moment so please don't pester me,I'll be taking some time out to decide what I want to do in the future, wether that be in the angling Industry I don't know!
It's generally been a blast, done so many wonderful things, fished with and against the best anglers in the world and will continue to do so, most are now life long friends.
Thank you to everyone that has supported A2baits over the years, my bait and products, transformed my own angling ten fold, so it's been a pleasure watching lots of you catch that special fish or a new pb.

Anyway I'd like to take the opportunity to thank you all again, tight lines and enjoy, it's only fishing after all

Much love
Craig

These baits have been used a lot on the waters I fish in the Darent valley. They catch a fair few. So that speaks for the quality.

The Bait game is a hard business to be in especially if your doing it all yourself. No doubt it would take its toll.

Good luck to the owner in what ever he decides to do in the future.

Quote... £100 for 10kg delivered..... Mainline prices...

25 years ago the cheapest you could buy Poachers freezer baits was £6 per kg without delivery. That's a 40% increase in 25 years on your quoted prices. Do you know how much ingredients have gone up in the last two years alone? This thread is about A2 baits. Craig's a lovely bloke (who I am quite certain used Poacher before setting up A2) and it's a real shame they are no longer. Good luck Craig if you read this.

But I see so much crap written on this forum and in various other places online. Carp fishing is a funny old game, especially regarding carp bait. People would never go online and promote Kike, or Fladidas trainers from the market. They would get laughed at. Yet in carp bait, imitation is apparently king and cheap price is everything. When it's actually the only part of your kit that will truly make any difference results wise.

If you want a nut mix go see Poachers for some T&M, or Geoff for some McNut. If you want some bait at 1995 prices, that's gone through three peoples hands, expect some proper crap for your money.

Your choice.
Are you sure?
