Hi all, just a quick one. In My boxes which my reels came in are some little silver washers. I'm guessing these are to put on to change the line lay? If so are they worth adding on and if so how many ?

Definitely worth adding if needed. Depending how the line lays will determine which direction you need to move the spool relative to the reel body.

The more washers you add the more line will taper to have more line sitting at the base of the spool. They come with one washer one I just added 2 to have 3 washers for braid and it definitely looks to have helped but I haven't been out and used them yet, I'm hoping it will help control the braid coming off the spool so it doesn't get wind knots.

Be sure not to overfill the spools with braid.

You can't really say how many to add. Each reel can be slightly different so it's a case of fine tuning.
