Sorry if this thread has been done to death.
After years of constant ***** night sleeps ive finally put it down to my sleep system i currently have a Nash SS3 and Nash Emperor for the longer session or when i take the dog.
I HATE the fleece sleeping bag which these sleep systems have built in, i just cant get comfy.
Can anyone recommend a decent non fleece sleeping bag, there's a couple of bags local to me second hand on FB marketplace

Fortis Snugpack Techlite 2 - £90
I'm in 2 minds to buy both and then sell whatever i least like, i shouldn't loose any money.
What firm bedchair would people recommend, no sleep systems please, i did try a SIM in the past and didn't really get on with it.

Definately the techlite bag. Out of all the bedchairs I've used my current sonik axs duralloy bedchair is still going strong and lost none of its firmness.

Solar c-tec is about as firm as you can get. I just bought a fortis bag and is beautifully made and very warm but is not wide enough for me as i lie on my front with my knee out so i cant close the zip so a bit gutted.

Its more getting rid of the sleep system and buying a new bedchair, i firmed up an old bedchair by using tie-wraps before.

Coming from the dark days of carping when we used argos sun loungers and a G10 ex issue sleeping bag I could never see the appeal or need for an integrated bed/bag system.
It's purely a marketing thing
Having the option to change bag or bed is obviously a much more flexible way to go.

had loads of indulgences over the years and so I can advise factually for what your after having come from them to a trakker els levelit to a solar sp c tech and fortis bag (I hate fleece lined) I'd NEVER go back
very rare to hear a bad word said about either and works for me

I've recently bought a new Solar C-tech CH02 bed it's pretty firm but very comfy
On that I use the Gardner duvet compact sleeping bag which fits perfectly.
I've used it in all seasons, on really cold nights I also have the matching cover and a SIM which helps insulate the underside, although probably not necessary with the Solar bed which has a thick memory foam mattress

I got the Snugpak Bag a couple of years ago.
They are fantastic, most of the year I just use one layer and sling the other one on around this time, I'm the really cold spells a Fleece lined cover goes over it.
It's worth noting that they're not the most “roomy” of bags, quite a snug fit I'd say. Also doesn't have the strap round the middle.
I use mine on a Trakker Levelite ELS, spot on for me as it weighs next to nothing and isn't too bulky.
I do need to have a look at the elastic on the head end though as I feel it's starting to loosen up a bit (probably 6-7 years old at least)
