Can someone please tell me if the 1000m spools of this have any distance marker stickers within the bulk spools. I want to get equal amounts of line on my reels instead of having about 50 yards of useless line left on the spool when I've finished.

It doesn't. They all should really, makes it much easier. I use a Berkeley line counter but I'm sure it's not totally accurate

Hold the spool alongside the rod and wrap the line onto sticks to get the measurement (330m) you want. Then spool onto an empty spool and top up with backing, then reverse onto another spool.

I can't cast much further than 120 yds , so I only put bout 150-160 on top of cheap backing line . Get 6 refills outta one bulk. Can't see point of 300 odd yds when I ain't using it ...... Stick with me for more tips 👍😂

I do similar.
I only said the 330m as he said he wanted to spool all the spools equally.
I 2/3rds to 3/4s fill a spool with backing and then give it two turns of tape to finish it off.

Just did a bulk spool of the same, there are definitely no markers.

Convert the turn of the handle to yardage its easy to do when you work it out plus you dont have to remeasure on sticks. Just dont miscount!

Most 5000 sized reels (eg Daiwa Tournies) will take 300-350 0.35/0.37mm DIA from empty to full so check your spools and the line diameter. . .on this basis I normally put about 50m of cheap backer on (eg Daiwa Sensor) in the same diameter as a safety net for discrepancies / line tension and then just spool up to the lip on every spool (3x).
Do this on all reels - you've usually got a little bit over on the bulkspool but it negates all the faff (unless you really need the full 333.333M per spool) and for the price of a bulkspool not the end of the world.
The only other accurate way is to buy / use a spare spool and reverse fill or use wraps to ascertain a more accurate backer line. TBF I only ever do this if using expensive fluros (eg 200M spools) that I don't really want to reverse fill (and add twist) or expensive braid on bulkspools . . .

I don't get why you'd put 300 yds of line on a spool if you only use 100-150 yds of it, unless you're boating stuff obviously,

If you only put 150m of line on a spool what happens if a fish takes you over a bar and damages the line 10 or 20m up from the lead? If you have 300m you cut that 10 or 20m back with no worries as you have plenty of line to play with. Do that a couple of times with only 150m and you are respooling. False economy to me.

+ Agree - total false economy. Always like to be able to remove a few metres every other session if twisted / cut / abrasion areas. Generally 'overfill' slightly on this basis to accommodate . .
