I know they've only just been released, but has anyone got them or had hands on experience with them. I'm toying with the idea of getting a set of 13ft 3.5lb rods, and these look like they might fit the bill. I like the look of them but don't want to waste money if they are not up to the job.

I know next to nothing about rods, but i trust gardner as a company so have taken a chance on the 12, 3.25s will update. Anyone else tried them

Got the 12ft versions for a few waters I don't want to use my more expensive kit and they're nice little rods for the money. Very light in the hand and recover quickly on the cast, seem quite soft although I've not had anything fish to really test this on yet but they definitely bend into the butt whilst playing my missus down the hallway

How bout the reel seat?
I'm not impressed by it...

Reel seat seems fine to me, holds my emblems securely with no movement, whats up with yours mate

I've got the same real seats on rods from another brand and they don't hold my emblems securely... one seemed to be a little warped when tightened.

Could be that I've got a 'monday morning' model

What size reel.seat do these rods have. If the 18mm the foot on a lot of daiwa reels won't fit. 20mm are better.

The 18mm AT are a couple of mm smaller than a fuji dps 18mm I have 5500 t emblem x and they fit but you should always check your reel fits . A common problem when you have Alps reel seats fitted.
As stated if you have huge reels a 20mm AT seat is required
