Was fishing the local runs water a few days ago and netted a small mirror, the plastic corn I was fishing had somehow got stuck in the mesh half way up so had to unhook the fish in the net, hook flew out and went straight into the bottom of my finger to the bend, luckily it was barbless but that's the 1st time iv ever had a hook go in and iv been fishing since I was about 12 so 22odd years, also snapped one of my 6fts casting to the island and caught a branch gave it a bit of a pull and the rod just exploded lol, off fishing today for a few nights hoping it's a bit of a better session 😂

Was watching a you tube video last night that I subscribe to
He broke 2 rod eyes and snapped a reel handle lol

Wasn't carp fishing related he was shark fishing

Don't you just hate days like that, makes you wonder how the stars aligned that day
Re the corn getting stuck, that's happened to me quite a few times before, fake mixers and small boiles too, always worth checking for in the net.
