So im just ordering some stuff from BAF as i like the pop up and wafter mixes. I usually go with the standard yellow, white and pink.
Ive decided to try a purple this time though, gonna try the same make up of a tried and tested bait sode by side with it .
Has anyone tried this colour and had success? What other unusal colours apart from the standard 3 do people use% had success on?

Years ago I had Ritchworth blue cheese that were blue
Don't remember catching anything though lol

There's some blackcurrant + liquorice wafters by Mainline that are a washed out purple. Have had a few with them.
I had some purple nash pop ups a long time ago and did well on them. I think they were called F1 or formula 1.

I was fishing at horseshoe in winter bay and I'd had a couple to low 20, and a guy turns up in the next swim. He started spodding to about 90 yds which was good as I was only fishing 30yds out. Half an hour later he gets a 1 toner so I walked round as the fish was getting landed. A lovely 26lb mirror with a purple mistral pop up hanging from its lip. The guy was just fishing over hemp, no freebies...
After that I stopped doing Cork ball pop ups to religiously match my freebies.

Poacher Baits do a purple bait called Purple Haze. I did OK on it. They still do it as a special order.
