I am looking at getting my lad (9yrs) a baitrunner for his 6ft rod, any recommendations on a reasonably priced one would be appreciated.

Any of the small shimano reels will be a shout. Got myself some nash dwarf 4000 rolls for my 6ft dwarfs and they feel good but yet to use them. Bigger than I expected them to be though so should have gone with the small 4000 shimanos to be honest

I paired my son's 6ft scope with a Shimano 4000FB baitrunner. Perfect combo and cheap

I got my boy the 6ft dwarfs and got him the 4000 shimanos, only thing is the baitrunner doesn't always switch off when you turn the handle
