hi all

anyone got the 12 foot version of these rods - opinions? also can someone confirm what tip ring these have? standard / ceramic etc

Are you on about the custom powermesh's?

I've got 3 of the 3.25 TC and couldn't be happier with them. They're minima guides, no ceramic. Not sure on the diameter of the tip ring but if you get in touch with them they'll be more than happy to talk to you.

Very minimalistic looking rod, great fish playing action and can cast my solid PVA bags as far as I've needed to.

I would recommend them without hesitation.

Just the sort of info i needed. Most of my fishing is under the rot tip to 50 yards, from what i hear they're a much nicer playing rod than the TC perhaps suggests, would you agree?

Yes m8, I went from an old set of 2.25 powermesh's to these and didn't notice alot of difference whilst playing fish. Only difference I noticed apart from the looks is the new one's cast further.

I have 3 of the.9ft 2.75 from future fishing, my favourite rods

Daiwa powermesh rods are brilliant I have a pair of powermesh barbel rods 2.75lb bought for the Tidal and 6 ozs leads but they are just as happy with 2 ozs leads and 5lb Barbel amazing rods I have Harrison Barbel rods that cost nearly 3 times the price and top Fox Barbel rods
and Rate my Daiwa Powermesh as they have such a superb action with light leads and small barbel yet capable of stopping big barbel in flood conditions with 6 ozs leads

Thats what it says

yes unfortunately that's the only downfall of the rod on the 9ft rods.....that said they are minimal and not overly intrusive, It's a small trade off for such a fantastic rod for playing fish on.

my 12ft powermesh barbel rods 2.75lb are 40mm
