Eight weeks ago I tried everywhere to buy a Ridgemonkey Boilie Crusher only to find nobody in the country has them in stock so I got in touch with a popular tackle shop and paid for one on back order, I was told they would be here in the first week in June so I emailed Ridgemonkey asking if they had a delivery date but NO reply, this was three weeks ago so I emailed them again last week but again no reply, I emailed the shop where I paid for the back order but again NO reply, am I missing something here, are they discontinued???

Either way - unless your crushing up loads on the bank buy a cheap food processor instead for half the price and enjoy half the time / zero physical effort in crushing up & crumbing boilies . .

I brought one of those NGT crushers, it worked ok for a while then the handle broke off, I fixed it the one of the blades bent so I binned it, I do crush lots of boilies to put in my spod bucket, I would also like to crush some cooked Tiger Nuts but I don't know if the Ridgemonkey is up to it, if I ever receive it, it's a bit annoying when their service department cannot be bothered to reply to emails

They will do tigernuts no problem,I have one but find it far too bulky to carry around.I use a blender at home so the rm doesn't get used.Im going wait see how good the OMC one is,it's compact and electric

There's one on ebay at the minute if you put in Ridgemonkey Boilie Crusher. It's on auction with 4 bids at £51 with 2 days to go.
I bought one last year and it's handy for crushing kilos of bait at a time but there are cheaper options for crushing more practical quantities.

It'll do tigers no problem. I tend to put a lot of bait through it once a year and freeze the crumb/bits, same with the tigers. It rarely gets used after that. Great bit of kit though

i bought one acouple of years ago, i also have a moulinex foodblender, but i prefer the rm for my growlers, i bought the particle plate aswell,the only issue i had is one of the lugs on the lid snapped, but i done my own fix to it. mine lives in my barrow bag, good tool though.

I found blenders create more instant 'crumb' rather than chops as the claw at the bottom seems to create fine particles too quickly leaving the boilies at the top whole. A wider processor with a big blade takes more bait and chops up bits (like an RM crusher) more evenly but the longer you leave it running the finer the chops (more control basically)

eBay £51, they are only £54 brand new with free delivery and that's the one complete with buckets, IF they ever get some stock

Update again, I have managed to get a reply from the shop I paid the back order to, Ridgemonkey are taking delivery of the crushers on the 29th July and they will be delivered to the customers 14 days later, still NO reply from Ridgemonkey, disgusting service, I will make sure I will NOT purchase anything from them again

Their customer service used to be really good,shame if they've let it slip.You have got to wait til middle of August,I would be asking for a refund
