Fancy giving braid a try and prefer the look of this one to the think anglers one. It's been out a while now any long term user reviews. Anyone had any problems with it? I've not used braid in 20 years so not sure whether to put this on or fluro.

Used it for 2 years now, and the normal hydro sink beforehand. Can't fault either, do exactly what they say, no thrills just good solid mainlines that won't let you down.

I had a horrific experience with the original hydro sink after using it for 2 years. Immediately switched to TA SBX.

Braid had rotted after using for 2 seasons and I lost 2 fish in one night.

If you are looking for a heavy sinking dark braid then i would go for the korda braid in 20lb, Been through some real battles and snags even went through it with my prop off my boat and apart from a horendous tangle the braid had not parted. The colour does fade however just reverse it onto another spool and you good to go for another season. It is expensive and is not the one if your going for the freddy long chuck.

I know people will knock this but I have been using some braid from Bank Tackle, it has strands of Kevlar running through it, once it's wet it sinks well and as strong as rope

The op is looking for mainline rather than a hooklink, don't think Thinking Tackle sell a braided mainline but could be wrong..
