Hi everyone I've just purchased some 2nd hand Nevs of eBay, how do I tell if their genuine, they are all plastic and have no Nev markings either outside or inside they take LR1 battery's if that helps

There aren't any markings. Also, quite a few have had new cases as they crack.

Are there even fake Nev's out there?

Didn't askari do some look alikes years ago but they were silver plastic i think

I often thought about buying a set of the askari ones but never got around to it

I thought Askari did the metal ones with silver grey enamel finish that some people bought and attempted to polish them up (usually unsuccessfully) to look like stainless Nev's??
